Our Values

We are here to make you ride more

It’s Luke and Dave. That is who you will work with. We are brothers, mechanics, fitters, and your gurus. We do this because we love bikes. We love seeing bikes transform peoples lives. Whether its discovering commuting or finishing your first event. We are here to make that more comfortable, less scary, and faster.

Our business

We do not turn away customers because of what they ride and where they got it. Everyone is welcome and everyone will get the help they need. We only ask two things.

First, We treat everyone with respect and courtesy. We ask for the same in return. This is our life, our passion, and our knowledge.

Second, the retail market today is complex. All we ask is give us a chance. If there is something you wish to purchase, call/email and see if we can provide it for you. We may be able to or we may offer something better or better service.

Luke

Since I have been a little kid, I loved bikes. I began my career at the local BMX shop, then moved on to expand my interests to road, gravel, triathlon, MTB, and track. I have spent the last 24 years of geeking out over bikes. I love what I do, I am an experienced mechanic, a fitter, and a guide for trips long and short. I have ridden/worked on amazing bikes, and that has influenced me profoundly. Whether I am riding the local trails or doing events like the Mongolia bike challenge, bikes offer an amazing road to personal adventure and health. From nutrition, to saddle options, and obscure cycling knowledge to frame construction, I never want to stop learning more about bikes and sharing it with others.

Dave

While Luke is an experienced mechanic, Dave is a mechanical guru. Accomplished machinest, welder, fabricator, wheelbuilder, and all around miracle worker. Dave grew up in the same enviroment as Luke, but when Luke was racing Dave was working on the bikes. His mechanical knowledge is astounding and his ability to problem solve is best summed up in this story: “ A few years back during the Chicago triathlon, a gentleman from Ireland found himself in a predicament. While reassembling his bike, he tried to install his pedals and damaged the threads in the cranks. He visited every shop in the area and scoured the show expo looking for help. His cranks were badly damaged and due to his bike’s components, no parts were availible on a Saturday at 5pm. The gentleman and a mechanic from a competitor came to see Dave to ask if he could find a solution. Dave looked at the crank, grabbed a box cutter and loctite, hand carved the threads straight and loctited the pedal on. The guy raced the tri the next day and had a PR!” Its that ability to problem solve that has helped many of our customers when they were in a pinch. Nothing is worse than being told there are no options. Dave is an option savant.
